Metro Nashville Police

Description:
The Metro Nashville Police Department added QuickTime VR movies to its arsenal against crime. From what I could find out, they were the first PD to do so. They used the VR technology mainly to produce linked panoramas at violent crime scenes for jury presentations.

The Quicktime VR on here is a brief tour of Metro Nashville Police Academy dating back to fall / winter 1995. It starts at front of the Academy and lets you "walk" (enable hotspots) over to the large 100 X 100 meter gun range (where over 2,000 officers qualified every year) and the heliport showing two Hughes 500 helicopters. (bought with confiscated drug money)
