Update #5 - A mixed bag
March 31st 2020

After our movie trailer update (another one is in the works!), here’s something of a mixed bag: Two Apple guys on the Computer Chronicles comparing a 7100/66 with a Pentium PC, a bunch of Quicktime VRs for Power Mac G3 & G4 models (check out the dream setup one!) and a report from the University of Texas in 1994. They had been one of the first educational institutions to make the jump to the PowerPC Macs.

My recommendation with this update is an amazing new video in our history section featuring colourized photos from 1840 to 1930. Ever wondered what Mark Twain or the young Joseph Stalin looked like? Check it out!

Update #4 - grab some popcorn!
March 25th 2020

We keep you entertained during the CoVID-19 quarantine! This week we're focussing on 70s, 80s and 90s movie trailers. We got 25 new trailers, ranging from Aliens to (the mandatory) Wargames from 1983. Watching them on your old Mac is the best ticket for a trip back in time.

And because I believe it is important to keep our humour in times of CoVID-19, I've added a good bunch of stuff to the fun category: Watch how the Simpsons and Futurama mocked Apple and Bill Gates. The "Mapple Store" is my favorite!

Update #3 - history, sports & commercials
March 21st 2020

After all the above categories were mostly neglected with our big March 15th update, we're going to add some great new content to them.

One addition are „best of“ videos about the Olympics 1984, 1994 and 1996. Great games to remember and to lay back and wonder: „where was I when this happened?“. You’ll find them in the sports category.

If you think history is boring, watch that interview with a 108-year old lady about Victorian times or check out the ton of new Apple commercials added to the respective section.

P.S. And by special request from Norway we’ve added the iBook G3 introduction video to our „Macs“ section.

Update #2 - 25+ new videos / new applications category
March 15nd 2020

Lots of new content added. We've got well over 100+ Quicktime videos online for your viewing pleasure! Almost all categories had updates. I've added several new video for Macintosh games and commercials. There's a bunch of new videos in the documentary section, including a short one on Animatrix - the guys & gals that did the famous "Guided Tour" animations for Apple!

For some extra 80s & 90s nostalgia check out the two Making Of videos on Knight Rider and Babylon 5.

P.S. Don't forget to peek into the new Applications section.

Update #1 - new videos online
March 5nd 2020

I've just added our first content update to Cornica. Lots of categories got new stuff. Really recommending the Apple File Server video in the Apple category and for some nostalgia the documentary on Stanford University's computer network in 1987 in the documentary category.

Meanwhile still ironing out some bugs and minor incompatibilities. If you should encounter something you deem should be fixed, please send me an e-mail: contact Cornica.
